What is the event all about?
The event is a run or walk - In Person at a myrun venue (2.5km or 5km) or a Virtual Event (5km, 10km, 21km) assisting the ILoveBoobies Charity in raising funds to educate, empower and screen disadvantaged South African Women for Breast Cancer, in honor of our MOMS!
When is it being held?
Saturday the 7th of May or Mother's Day, Sunday the 8th of May 2022 if you are a myrun participant **check your venue day and time.
Mother's Day, Sunday the 8th of May 2022 if you are participating virtually.
Where is it being held?
A choice of any myrun venue (see. www.myrun.org.za for venue listing) or you may participate where you are – anywhere in the world on the date above. Be finished by midnight on the 8th of May 2022 GMT.
What are the options to choose from?
If you are participating at myrun the distance choice is 2.5km or 5km.
If you are participating virtually, you can do 5km, 10km or 21km.
Do I need a myrun timing band to participate at a myrun?
Yes you do, if you do not have one, you will be emailed a link to register and redeem a band.
What does the entry include?
Event participation, downloadable printable race number, personalised digital finishers certificate (with a photo or selfie if you upload one), a TOTALSPORTS Visor, ILoveBoobies Buff, and Goodie Bag, which includes your donation towards a breast cancer screening, all for R200 (R100 for children under 12).
Free Shipping to metropolitan areas in South Africa. Outlying areas attract shipping surcharge. International orders shipping is charged by our carrier DHL.

Can anyone participate?
Absolutely, register for the event, there is no age limit or time restriction to complete your activity.
I have signed up and paid, what happens now?
Get training, encourage your friends to join you, plan your pink outfit.
Must I have a Garmin or Smart watch?
If you have one great, it makes keeping track of your distance and time much easier! If you don’t, it is not necessary. This event is based on honesty, you will be able to upload your results on our website and you will receive an email with a link to upload your results and your favorite photo. If you submit false results the only person you are cheating is yourself.
What’s the deal with Strava?
If you are on Strava, join our event MOVE FOR MOM. Remember you will still have to upload your results to our website.
Are we getting a Race Number?
Yes, you will be emailed a digital number, keep it on your phone, or print it out and pin it on.
What exactly happens on Race Day?
If you are participating at a myrun venue, be sure to check the events start time, your results will automatically be captured by the myrun timing system,

If you are participating virtually
- You choose your route or venue, make it interesting and fun, stop at your favorite coffee shop along the way, remember to stay hydrated.
- You choose the starting time.
- You choose your family/crew/tribe/team mates to participate with or go solo.
- Make a note of your start time and finish time and distance if you don’t have a smart device.
Take photo’s; upload your result & your favorite photo on our website or to the link you will receive by email. You have until midnight on the 9th of May 2022 to upload your result.
Are there prizes?
YES, prizes will be awarded on a lucky draw basis at 12 noon on the 11th of May 2022.

Are there prizes for positions?
No, this event is a mass participation, feel good event, there are no winner winner chicken dinners. There are lucky draw prizes.
Will the results be displayed on the website?
Yes, as we receive your uploads, they will reflect on the website.
What is in the Goodie Bag?
A TOTALSPORTS Sun Visor, an ILoveBoobies Buff, bumper sticker and a few little surprises from our awesome sponsors, USN & Wintergreen.
When will I get my Goodie Bag?
Your Goodie bag will be dispatched immediately, so that you get it before the event, we would love to see your photos of you wearing your new merch. If you entered in the last week or even on the day, your goodie bag will still be shipped to you.
Are we getting an event certificate?
Yes in true ILoveBoobies style, you will get a digital certificate a few days after the race, this will include your name, time and a photo, if you have uploaded one.
How does my participation make a difference?
By staying healthy and active you stand the best chance of preventing cancer. By talking about ILoveBoobies you create awareness for Breast Cancer and how important it is for Women to regularly check their breasts. Breast Cancer is most prevalent of all cancers. ILoveBoobies provides FREE breast screenings to women who face economical or logistical challenges in South Africa. Proceeds from the sale of merchandise and your entry fee are used to fund the screening program.
