you help us raise money to bring Mobile Health Clinics to remote areas for early breast cancer detection

Breast cancer is serious business. It is the most prevalent form of cancer amongst women in South Africa. Early detection and treatment can save lives, and  can save families.

ILoveBoobies for CANSA Active started back in 2015, when mother and daughter team, Nicky & Mikayla Webb, secured an entry to the ABSA Cape Epic for 2016. They were determined to make the long hours of training and preparation count for more, so they teamed up with CANSA Active. The race takes you to very remote towns in Southern Africa, some of which have no hospitals or clinics, and thus ILoveBoobies was born.

Realising what a huge impact the ILoveBoobies initiative was making on supporters and fellow racers alike, the determined team decided to keep at it!  A few years on, they have athletes competing in prestigious national events such as Iron Man, the Comrades Marathon, the Coronation Double Century Race, the Joberg2C, the Absa Cape Epic, the Sani2C, the Two Oceans Marathon, the 36ONE MTB Challenge, the Trans Baviaans and the Wines2Whales, as well as renowned international events including the Swiss Epic, the Trans Alps, and the Vuelta Espana. The ILoveBoobies teams and athletes conquer extreme events in and around Africa and Europe to raise funds for CANSA Active, in order to help those who need it the most.

ILoveBoobies 4 CANSA Active’s mission is to promote an active and healthy lifestyle, which reduces the risk of cancer, while also raising funds and awareness for CANSA.
