This is an important distinction.

A referral is not a diagnosis.

Many breast lumps and changes are completely benign, but they deserve further investigation to make sure nothing serious is overlooked.

When a woman is referred, ILoveBoobies works closely with trusted radiology partners who perform diagnostic mammograms and ultrasound examinations. If imaging suggests additional investigation is needed, further tests such as biopsies may be arranged before a specialist confirms a diagnosis.

But before race day, something equally special happens.

Hundreds of riders swap race pace for community spirit as they gather for the ILoveBoobies Pink Social Ride.

In 2026, more than 700 cyclists arrived dressed in pink, creating a sea of colour through the streets of Cape Town. There were no timing chips, no pressure and no competition. Just friends, families, elite cyclists, first-timers and supporters riding together for something bigger than themselves.

The Pink Social Ride has become more than a warm-up ride.

It's become a tradition.

Regular physical activity supports heart health, mental wellbeing, stronger bones, better sleep and improved overall health. For many people, it becomes an opportunity to reconnect with friends, reduce stress and create healthy habits that last long after an event finishes.

When we move, we feel better.

When we feel better, we're more likely to prioritise our own health.

When we prioritise our health, we're more likely to notice changes early and seek help when something doesn't feel right.

No medals waited at the finish. No crowds cheered them home. Just tired bodies, dusty bikes, and the quiet satisfaction of knowing that because ordinary people chose to show up again, real lives will be changed.

2025 was our biggest year yet.
Together, our community turned movement, merchandise and events into life-saving breast cancer screenings for women in underserved communities across South Africa.

You didn't just Imagine - You made it happen! Imagine Challenge 2025. R6m raised, 4000 Screenings, 11000 Participants, 160K activities uploaded.

We stripped away the layers of pain and found joy in shared survival, honouring those who have passed and those still fighting. In that moment, surrounded by water and women, we remembered that healing doesn’t always happen in hospitals — sometimes, it happens in the ocean, a dam, or a pool under the morning sun.

Screening Update : 680 Women Screened in October 2025, bringing our total impact to 14009 Women educated and screened. All made possible by our phenomenal supporters. 

Love is Stronger Than Everything 💗

When we created the digital Honour Wall for the 2025 Imagine Challenge, our hope was simple — to give each participant a moment to pause, reflect, and connect with their why. What we didn’t expect was the outpouring of emotion that followed.

Thousands of you opened your hearts and shared your stories — of mothers, sisters, friends, and partners. You spoke of love and loss, of courage and survival, of hope that refuses to fade. Through your words, you reminded us that the Imagine Challenge isn’t just about kilometres or hours moved — it’s about connection, community, and compassion.

We thank you for trusting us with your stories, for letting us carry a little piece of your weight, your love, your sorrow, and your joy. Together, we’ve built more than a wall — we’ve built a tapestry of human strength and kindness.
