VIRTUAL EVENT FAQ's

1️⃣ I haven't received a confirmation email yet, what now?

2️⃣ How do I know if I’m registered?
You will end on the “Congratulations” screen once entered and you will receive a confirmation email from our team directly after entering. If you’re still unsure, please visit our events website page and click on the “check if you’re entered” button.
3️⃣ Do I need to do anything else after signing up?
After you've entered, you’re ready to go on the 10.10.2020! It’s as easy as that. All you need to do from your side is run 5km or more on 10 October, upload your run to Strava, and we’ll do the rest.
4️⃣ Do I need to run with a Garmin/Smartwatch?
You can either connect your smartwatch device with Strava or you can run with your mobile phone and record your run with the Strava App.
5️⃣ Are we getting a race number?
Yes, you will receive your number on Friday (the day before the race).
6️⃣ Must my run be exactly 5km or can I run more than 5km?
If you’re one to push the limits, you’re more than welcome to run more than 5kms! Your total time will be calculated by taking your average pace and multiplying it by 5.
7️⃣ Will there be prizes for the top finishers?
In short, no. As this is a global run and countries currently have different laws in place regarding outdoor activities, we’re keeping the playing field level. All prizes will be chosen through a random draw of all event finishers.
8️⃣ Do I need to use Strava?
To be able to do the event and to stand a chance to win one of our amazing prizes, you’ll have to make use of Strava on the day yes.
9️⃣ How do I connect my Strava to the event?
Your Strava will automatically connect to the event once you’ve signed up for our event. All you need to do now is run 5km or more on the 10 of October. It’s as easy as that!
