| "Pink Butterfly's" faith and bravery in the face of Breast cancer is a life lesson in motion for everyone! It's a huge once in a life time privilege to run in honour of a woman who is so strong, wise, spiritual and fearless as PB is! PB choose life, fought the good fight and won, leaving a legacy so powerful, that even if you just spend a moment in her presence you will be forever changed! You will walk away a little stronger and a little braver, just as she is. PB simply took her cancer diagnosis in her stride, faced it head on and in her inevitable way dealt with it, recreated her lifestyle to be even more positive and healthy than before! I am deeply inspired by PB, and greatly blessed to know someone of this stature! In 2003 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can remember all the thoughts of living without her when I heard about the diagnosis and everything I will not be able to share with her. Since the diagnosis and needed medical treatment she witnessed all 3 her kids getting married and is enjoying life as a grandmother of 7. She is truly proof that early detection save lives!
