A: Secret Swim is a women’s-only gathering to honour the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember the brave women who fought breast cancer. It’s not a race — it’s about community, support, and awareness.

·        Q: When and where will it be held?

A: The event takes place on Saturday, 11 October 2025 from 07:30 – 09:00 'ish at 17 secret locations across South Africa — from ocean beaches to dams and pools.

·        Q: How do I find out the venue?

A: The exact location pin will be sent to you via email and SMS at 23:59 on Friday, 10 October 2025.

·        Q: Who can participate?

A: This is a women’s-only event for women of all ages.

·        Q: Is there a cost to enter?

A: Yes, the entry fee is R200 per participant.

What to Expect on the Day

·        Q: What is the schedule for the morning?

A: 07:30: Registration, temporary tattoos & pre-swim selfies
07:45: Welcome talk & safety briefing
07:50: Optional topless (from behind) group photo
08:00: Dip, swim, or bop — your choice!

A: No! A quick dip counts. This is not a competitive event — it’s about connection, not competition.

A: Yes, female lifeguards will be on duty, and bag-watchers will keep your belongings safe.

Supporting the Cause

A: 100% of proceeds fund free breast cancer screenings for women in underserved South African communities through ILoveBoobies.

A: The event director may cancel the event for safety reasons (e.g., severe weather, health risks). There will be no refunds, but your entry fee will still fund breast cancer screenings.
