On Saturday, 17 May 2025,  ILoveBoobies took part in the Joe Slovo Community Healthcare Day, powered by RES Healthcare and Rachel Kolisi and made possible through an inspiring coalition of partners: the Kolisi Foundation, View Church, CIC (Community Intervention Centre), Mosaic (GBV services), and Shawco (Student Health and Welfare Centres Organisation).

With three of our nursing sisters on site, we provided free breast-health education and clinical exams for 117 women. Early-warning signs were picked up in 10 patients, who have already been fast-tracked for radiology follow-up through our referral network. Each women screened received a beautifully packaged bra, an on going drive from our Gently Used Bra Campaign.

Days like these prove what collaboration can do. When healthcare providers, faith groups, GBV advocates, student volunteers, and community organisations work side by side, real barriers to care disappear.
