October is always special for us — a month filled with movement, awareness, and community. But this year, it’s been nothing short of phenomenal. Because of your support — every step taken, every sock purchased, every donation made, and every conversation shared — real change is happening.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our teams have been on the ground across South Africa, creating moments of education, empowerment, and early detection.

So far this month, 680 women have gone through our breast health education process. Each woman received a clinical breast examination and a special gift from our Gently Used Bra Collection — a small reminder that kindness restores dignity. 

Forty-one women have been referred to our incredible radiology partners — SCP Radiology, Kauffman & Partners, and Winelands Radiology — for mammograms and further diagnostic care. And we’re not done yet — there are still five more screening clinics scheduled for next week!

Our 2025 journey so far has already seen 3,215 women screened and 215 referred for further medical treatment. Each number represents a woman whose life may be changed forever through early detection — a mother, daughter, sister, or friend who now has access to hope and care.

Since ILoveBoobies began, our mission has been simple: to break barriers and bring breast health to women who need it most. We’re proud to share that since our inception, we’ve screened 14,009 women across South Africa and referred 593 women for further medical diagnosis and treatment.
