13 August 2026: One Day. One Mission. A Lot of Impact.

Some days capture exactly what ILoveBoobies is all about.

13 August 2026 was one of those days.

Across education, community screening, corporate engagement, our Gently Used Bra Campaign and preparations for the Imagine Challenge, our team was working in different places towards the same goal: improving breast health awareness and access to early detection in South Africa.

500 girls educated about breast health

At Good Hope Seminary, 500 girls took part in breast health education focused on awareness, understanding their bodies and the importance of knowing what is normal for them.

Early detection starts long before a screening room. It starts with education.

By giving young women the knowledge and confidence to talk openly about breast health, we hope to create habits they will carry with them for life.

210 women screened in Grabouw

In the Siphilo Sonke community in Grabouw, our screening team educated and clinically screened 210 women.

Of those women, 21 were referred for further investigation and are currently in the process of attending mammogram appointments at Winelands Radiology.

This next step is a critical part of our screening programme. When something concerning is identified during a clinical breast examination, we work to connect that woman with the diagnostic care she needs.

But there are still more women in the Siphilo Sonke community who need to be screened.

So our work in Grabouw isn't done. We'll be back.

More than 100 women reached through corporate engagement

At the Ernst & Young Women's Day event, we had the opportunity to speak to more than 100 women about ILoveBoobies, the work happening in communities around South Africa and the role Corporate Social Investment can play in making that work possible.

For us, corporate support isn't simply about putting a logo next to a cause.

It's about what that support can do.

It can educate another community. Put a nurse on the road. Fund another screening. Help a woman access further diagnostic care when something suspicious is found.

That's where the impact is.

More than 1,500 bras gifted

At the same time, our Gently Used Bra Campaign was doing what it was created to do: giving pre-loved bras a new purpose.

More than 1,500 bras were gifted to women, putting something practical, personal and needed directly into their hands.

Every bra donated by our community becomes part of a much bigger circle of giving — collected, sorted and ultimately passed on to women who can use them.

And back at the office…

October may still be weeks away, but the 2026 Imagine Challenge is already very real behind the scenes.

More than 1,000 entries were processed in a single day, while gift boxes were being assembled and preparations continued for thousands of people who will move with us throughout October.

Every Imagine Challenge entry helps make the work happening in communities like Grabouw possible.

That connection matters.

You enter. You move. We screen.

All in one day

500 girls educated.
210 women screened.
21 women referred and progressing to mammograms.
100+ women reached through Corporate Social Investment.
1,500+ bras gifted.
1,000+ Imagine Challenge entries processed.

Different programmes. Different communities. Different people.

One mission.

Education. Screening. Dignity. Fundraising. Action.

This is what your support allows us to do.

This is what showing up looks like.
