Every March, Cape Town comes alive.

The roads close, the city buzzes with anticipation, and more than 30,000 cyclists prepare to take on one of the world's most beautiful cycling events—the Cape Town Cycle Tour.

But before race day, something equally special happens.

Hundreds of riders swap race pace for community spirit as they gather for the ILoveBoobies Pink Social Ride.

In 2026, more than 700 cyclists arrived dressed in pink, creating a sea of colour through the streets of Cape Town. There were no timing chips, no pressure and no competition. Just friends, families, elite cyclists, first-timers and supporters riding together for something bigger than themselves.

The Pink Social Ride has become more than a warm-up ride.

It's become a tradition.

It's where old friends reconnect, new friendships are formed and first-time riders discover what the ILoveBoobies community is all about.

It's where the cycling community shows that while race day is about personal achievement, the days leading up to it are about coming together.

Year after year, we've watched this event grow from a small gathering into one of the highlights of Cycle Tour week. Riders proudly wear their pink ILoveBoobies kit, visitors from around the world join the peloton, and the energy reminds us why this community is so special.
