The Pink Party in Untamed Africa

The Pink Party in Untamed Africa

f you've ever ridden the Absa Cape Epic, you'll know there comes a moment each day when your legs are burning, the climbs seem endless and the finish line still feels a long way off.

Then, somewhere out on the route...

You hear the music.

The cheering.

And suddenly, there's a sea of pink.

Welcome to the ILoveBoobies Hype Zone.

For the fourth consecutive year as an Official Charity Partner of the Absa Cape Epic, ILoveBoobies took our energy out of the race village and into the heart of the Untamed African trails.

Every day, our team packed up, found a new location on the route and transformed it into the loudest, happiest roadside party riders would experience all week.

No matter how remote the location, one thing never changed.

The music was pumping through our JBL PartyBox.

The flags were flying.

The dancing never stopped.

For eight consecutive days, 10 incredible volunteers gave everything they had—dancing, cheering, waving banners and encouraging every rider who passed. Thousands of riders rolled through our Hype Zones, many with exhausted smiles, some digging deep through the toughest moments of their race. For a few minutes, fatigue gave way to laughter, dancing and renewed determination.

It became one of the most talked-about moments on the route.

Not because it was planned into the race.

But because pure energy is contagious.

But because sometimes, all someone needs is another human being reminding them they can keep going.

That's what the ILoveBoobies community has always been about.

Showing up.

Bringing energy.

Creating moments that people remember long after the race is over.

The Hype Zone wasn't just for the riders, either. It brought together supporters, locals, volunteers and families, all united by an infectious atmosphere that celebrated the spirit of the Epic.

While riders were racing across mountains, our volunteers were creating magic on the sidelines.

Their commitment was extraordinary. Eight long days. Early mornings. Dust, heat, wind and whatever the African wilderness threw at them. Yet every single rider received exactly the same enthusiasm as the first.

To our amazing Hype Zone crew—thank you.

Your energy lifted thousands of riders.

Your passion became part of countless Epic memories.

And your sea of pink reminded the world that sometimes the biggest impact isn't measured in kilometres ridden, but in the encouragement shared along the way.

We'll see you somewhere out on the trails again next year.

Just follow the music.
